Tim Glemkowski will take the reins of Denver-based parish apostolate in August ‘championing, stewarding, and ensuring the success of the Amazing Parish Movement’

Greenwood Village, CO, March 4, 2024 – The Amazing Parish Board of Directors announces Tim Glemkowski as the new Executive Director effective August 15, 2024. In this new role, Glemkowski brings parish ministry innovation and creativity to one of the American Catholic Church’s leading sources for fostering healthy leadership teams and organizational health in parish life. Glemkowski will begin his new role just prior to the Amazing Parish’s annual Summit August 26-28 in San Antonio, TX.

“Eleven years ago, Pat Lencioni and I founded Amazing Parish to serve pastors and renew parishes. As we move to a new season of growth and organizational maturity, Tim’s vision for expanding our work made a significant impact on our Board and Founders,” says John Martin, co-founder and member of the Board of Directors. “We are delighted to have Tim in this role, where he and the staff of Amazing Parish will be responsible for championing, stewarding, and ensuring the success of the Amazing Parish Movement.”

Since 2022, Glemkowski has served as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Eucharistic Congress and will remain in that role until after the Congress July 17-21 in Indianapolis, IN. “To have the privilege of leading the National Eucharistic Congress over the past two years has been the honor of a lifetime.” states Glemkowski. “Though my role will be changing, I will continue to be engaged in helping to shape the future for the National Eucharistic Revival and Congress.” As one of the founders of the National Eucharistic Congress, Glemkowski will remain on the USCCB’s Executive Team for the National Eucharistic Revival.

Bishop Andrew Cozzens, Chairman of the Board for the National Eucharistic Congress said, “The Board of Directors for the NEC are deeply grateful to Tim for how he has launched this movement as our founding CEO. His energy and vision have been extraordinary in helping lead this national effort to rekindle a living relationship with Jesus in the Eucharist.”

In his new role as Executive Director of Amazing Parish, Glemkowski will be responsible for leading the organization with a dynamic vision and long-term strategy that elevates the mission into its next phase of development. Board Chair David DeWolf said, “Tim’s appointment as the Executive Director marks a pivotal moment in our movement’s journey towards fostering vibrant parish communities. His profound leadership qualities, coupled with an innovative approach to parish ministry, are exactly what Amazing Parish needs as we enter a new chapter of growth and impact. I am confident that under Tim’s stewardship, we will see an unprecedented flourishing of parish life, deeply rooted in the mission to cultivate communities that are alive with faith and eager to embrace the Great Commission.”

Based in the Denver area, the work of Amazing Parish has impacted hundreds of parishes, pastors, and leadership teams around the country over the past decade. Bringing John Martin’s business experience and Pat Lencioni’s expertise in organizational health and leadership, Amazing Parish offers pastors and their leadership teams a growing portfolio of resources as they strive to live Christ’s great commission to “Go make disciples of all nations.”
